INDIVIDUALS
With their actions or inactions people are responsible for their
lives, health and wellbeing.
While there are many things beyond people's control, Better Air and
Better Light are among the few things people can have under control, of course,
only if they wish to.
Should one wait while
scientists establish the concrete link between specific
pollutant and certain
adverse health effects, as well as
the exact mechanism by which those adverse health effects occur?
Or, since decades can pass in studying the wide
range of
pollutants in their myriad combinations, should one act
now by applying the Precautionary Principle of
Prudent Avoidance?
Implementing our air purifier improves the quality of indoor air by
significantly reducing the number of particles polluting the air
indoors. This may improve people's health and wellbeing
EMPLOYERS
Employers should assume responsibility for any adverse health
effects the staff might experience as a result of their either
short-term and/or long-term exposure to particulate
matter in the environment they work. Ensuring that the
appropriate measures in order to reduce possible risks for the
employees are in place is therefore employers' duty of care.
It is up to the employers to assure that premises in which the
entity operates, whether owned, leased or rented, are subject to
the appropriate measures in order to reduce possible risks for
the employees. On the other hand landlords and owners of the
buildings should assume responsibility for the appropriate
measures in order to reduce possible risks for the occupants of
the buildings from their either short-term and/or long-term
exposure to particulate matter.
Employers and landlords should not wait while scientists
establish the concrete link between specific pollutant and
certain adverse health effects, as well as the exact mechanism
by which those adverse health effects occur. Since decades can
pass in studying the wide
range of pollutants in their myriad
combinations, employers and landlords should act now by
applying the Precautionary Principle of
Prudent Avoidance?
In order to facilitate decision-makers
in your organisation, Advanced Air
Technologies will be pleased to conduct an Economic
Evaluation of Improved Indoor Air in your specific case.
You'll be surprised to see that the benefits for your company
will exceed significantly costs for implementing the change.

Few things to consider:
-
Implementing the purifier in your business, only because of
eliminating bacteria and viruses in the air, may lead to reducing sick leave days.
For example, when a customer or a staff member sneezes during the flu epidemics, viruses remain
airborne for approx. 3 hours. By nutralizing them with the purifier you in fact reduce the risk of
infection amongst the staff. Lets suppose (very conservatively) that you can gain only one sick leave day less per employee.
Having in mind that office area per employee is approx. 8 to 10 m2, one purifier covers up to 6-8 people. Even if all of them are on minimum wage savings will exceed the cost of the purifier. Only this pays back the device in less than one year , meaning that afterwards
it will make money for your business!
-
Lets suppose (very conservatively) that implementing the device
can improve productivity of your staff by only 2.5 % (for details see Evidence). As they will work in better
environment - free of positively charged small particles - they will feel better, thus they will perform just a little bit better.
In other words, they will be able to do just a little bit more things per hour, and/or they will make just a little bit less mistakes
since they'll get tired just a little bit less and a little bit later than they do now.
There are simple and quick tests to prove it - just
ask us how.
If there are on average 220 working days per person per year, your business gets an extra 5 days "performance" per employee!
No other activity can achieve such benefit with such small investment.
Any other actions for improving productivity of the staff will cost to your business much more.
For example, only for an audit (evaluation of your current situation and some recommendations,
without considering the cost for implementing those) you'll pay more.
Analogy: When do you think your staff will perform better: at 24
C or at 42 C?
Of course, no one will die at 42 C. However, first priority of
everyone's body will be to cope with the heat in order to remain
alive. Keeping customers happy, or performing other tasks for the company will not be main concern of the employees.
So, what makes you think that it is different with the quality
of the air they breathe?
Yes, people will survive in polluted air, but their performance
will not be as good as it is when they breathe air free of
positively charged small particles. Simple and quick tests can
prove it.
Implementing our air purifier improves the quality of indoor air by significantly reducing the
number of particles polluting the air indoors. This may improve
people's health and wellbeing, may reduce sick leave days, and
may improve productivity of the staff.
